The Club welcomed Christine Cliffe from SLADA (South Leytonstone Development Association) who spoke about the work which the charity carries out in the area. The Charity runs a number of projects that seek to regenerate the area and involve residents in empowering activities. Two new projects being planned are computer skills for those not quite into the technological age and cookery for those who wish to widen their skills in the kitchen.
